Race to Rescue 5k

Animal adoption and rescue is very important to all of us at Terrier Financial Group (with a name like Terrier Financial, how could it not be?) So, we jumped at the chance to be a part of the first annual Race to Rescue 5k, a fundraiser for York County’s free spay/neuter program.

This program helps to keep shelters from becoming overrun, thereby reducing the rate of euthanizations due to lack of space/resources. Animal rescue is near and dear to every one of us on the Terrier team – Gary, Valorie, and Elise have all adopted and/or fostered animals who were at risk for being euthanized.

This 5k was hosted by Every Life Matters, Project Safe Pet, and Halfway There Rescue. Along with several other local vendors, we were able to raise over $18,000! We look forward to being a part of the fun again next year, and would love to open it to our clients to participate as well!

Run and done!

A huge thank you to Halfway There Rescue, and all the foster care programs in Charlotte and the surrounding areas, for your dedication and hard work in caring for these animals that deserve a second chance at love and life!

This sweet girl went home after the race with a new loving family!

If you would like more information about adoption and/or fostering, please contact anyone on the Terrier Financial team and we can help you get started!
